About Us

Our passion for firearms began with our father and grandfather, Don Reed. When my father was young his father, Don had introduced him to the hobby of ammunition reloading, and from there it took off. What started as a simple question, "Dad, what is that?", turned into decades of load development, custom work on personal firearms, and what later would turn into a father and son turning a hobby into a profession. After growing up with Don as an inspiration and teacher, of the ideas and techniques we use today, Ken had actually gone to Phoenix, Arizona to UTI for his courses in automotive and diesel . After graduating, Ken ended up changing directions and began his journey in law enforcement. Serving our community along with volunteering to go to almost every armorers class that was available so the department would  have a certified armorer on staff. These classes consisted of Glock, Springfield, H&K, Sig Sauer, 1911 platform, Remington 870. Later to also include MGS gunsmithing school that both Ken and Harrison had attended to become licensed Gunsmiths. Harrison had an interest in firearms and sport shooting from a young age as well. Growing up around Don and Ken, getting taught the decades of knowledge only grew the interest more and more. Following a similar path Harrison attended a local community college, earning his AA as an Automotive Technician, where he went on to work almost 10 years as a tech at a few shops. Finally leaving the wrenching behind, and becoming a parts and service writer at Guys Outdoor, while working to get the business going with Ken. Needless to say, with their mechanical background, passion for firearms, and excellent customer service, they will always make sure your firearm jobs are done the right way and handled with precision and the up most care.
