TERMS & CONDITIONS
By submitting a firearm, firearm component, or accessory for service, repair, cleaning, modification, coating, refinishing, inspection, or other work, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Limitation of Liability
We perform all services using industry-standard methods, reasonable care, and accepted gunsmithing practices. However, firearms and firearm components may contain pre-existing wear, defects, hidden damage, manufacturing inconsistencies, corrosion, altered parts, or other conditions that are not readily apparent before service begins.
The customer understands and agrees that, in the rare event incidental or unintended damage occurs during the performance of standard and customary gunsmithing services, including but not limited to cleaning, disassembly, inspection, repair, maintenance, installation, fitting, or refinishing, our liability shall be limited to the cost of the services performed. We shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or punitive damages arising from such work, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms shall be interpreted as limiting liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be waived.
Cerakote and Refinishing Services
The customer acknowledges that Cerakote and other coating, finishing, and refinishing processes may produce variations in color, texture, sheen, pattern, coverage, appearance, or overall finish. Factors including substrate material, surface condition, manufacturing differences, lighting conditions, application techniques, curing processes, and product batch variations may affect the final result.
While we make every reasonable effort to achieve the customer's desired appearance and specifications, exact color matching, texture matching, or duplication of photographs, samples, previous finishes, or manufacturer examples cannot be guaranteed.
By requesting Cerakote or refinishing services, the customer accepts that minor variations in the final appearance are normal and do not constitute a defect in workmanship. We shall not be liable for dissatisfaction arising solely from reasonable variations in the final finish when the requested work has been performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with the customer's instructions.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for clearly communicating their desired service, finish, color selection, pattern, and any special requirements before work begins. Approval of color selections, finish options, and project specifications constitutes acceptance of the potential for normal variations in the completed product.
Acceptance of Terms
Submission of any firearm, component, or accessory for service constitutes the customer's acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Firearm Safety Notice
All firearms are inherently dangerous and must be handled responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accepted firearm safety practices.
Any firearm that has undergone repair, cleaning, modification, installation of parts, refinishing, coating, customization, or other gunsmithing services should be thoroughly inspected and function-checked before use. Customers are encouraged to carefully examine the firearm upon return and to conduct appropriate testing in a safe and controlled environment before relying upon the firearm for hunting, competition, training, personal defense, duty use, or any other purpose.
Function Testing
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, services performed by our shop do not constitute a certification, guarantee, or warranty that a firearm is free from all defects or suitable for any particular purpose. While reasonable care is exercised during all work performed, hidden defects, excessive wear, manufacturing issues, prior modifications, damaged components, ammunition variables, and other factors beyond our control may affect firearm performance and reliability.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any firearm returned from service is properly inspected, safely operated, and tested with appropriate ammunition before regular use.
Modifications and Aftermarket Components
The installation of aftermarket parts, custom components, trigger modifications, performance enhancements, coatings, and other alterations may affect the appearance, operation, reliability, safety characteristics, or manufacturer warranty of a firearm. Customers acknowledge and accept all risks associated with requested modifications and understand that firearm performance may differ from factory specifications following such work.
Compliance With Laws
Customers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm ownership, possession, transportation, storage, transfer, and use. Our shop does not provide legal advice and makes no representation regarding the legality of any firearm, accessory, modification, or configuration in any particular jurisdiction.
Assumption of Risk
By accepting possession of a firearm following service, the customer acknowledges the inherent risks associated with firearm ownership and use and assumes responsibility for the safe handling, storage, maintenance, inspection, and operation of the firearm.
Warranty Disclaimer
Except where expressly provided in writing, all services are provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this disclaimer shall be construed to waive or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
